Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using RenewalRescue at renewalrescue.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Use of service

RenewalRescue grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal or business purposes, subject to these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

Payments and subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Refunds are handled at our discretion. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Data processing on your customers' behalf

By connecting your Stripe account to RenewalRescue, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have a lawful basis under applicable privacy law (including GDPR, CASL, and CAN-SPAM) to share your customers' personal data (name, email address, payment information) with RenewalRescue for the purpose of payment recovery.
  • Your privacy policy discloses to your customers that you use third-party services to process payment recovery communications on your behalf.
  • You will promptly notify us of any data subject requests (access, erasure, portability) relating to your customers' data we hold, so we can fulfill them within required timeframes.

Our processing of your customers' data is governed by our Privacy Policy. For merchants subject to GDPR, our Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available to review. To request a countersigned copy, email support@renewalrescue.com.

Prohibited uses

You may not use RenewalRescue to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and software comprising RenewalRescue are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
